5th Annual Splendid Teapot Race

Join us for the 5th Annual Splendid Teapot Race at Willard Public Library, hosted by the Greater Evansville Steampunk Society! The excitement begins in the library's Browning Gallery on Monday evening, September 16th. Registration opens at 5:30 PM, and the first race kicks off at 6:00 PM!

Unleash your creativity and engineering skills by crafting your own teapot racer from an RC car or tank, with a maximum height of 16 inches and width of 14 inches. A teapot should be prominently displayed on your vehicle.

Compete for awards in categories such as Fastest Course Completion Time, Best Looking Racer, Most Interesting Race, Best Dressed Racer, and more! Impress the judges with your ingenuity, (and don’t forget that small steampunk-related trinkets can be offered as bribes for extra points!).

Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or a curious newcomer, all ages are welcome to partake in the festivities. Steampunk or Victorian-style attire is encouraged, and admission is free!
