Using the Library

Library Cards

Willard Public Library cards are available at no charge to individuals who live, work, or attend school in Evansville and can verify their current address with a valid government-issued photo ID.

Indiana residents outside Evansville may receive a free card by presenting their home library card and a valid government-issued photo ID with current address verification.

Non-Indiana residents may purchase a library card for $35 per year with proof of current address and a valid government-issued photo ID.

Patrons age 14 and younger may obtain a juvenile library card in the Children’s Department when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must obtain a Willard Public Library card first, so that the Juvenile card can be linked.
