Tom Lonnberg, Curator of History at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science, presents "Evansville World War II Shipyards." Learn about the vital role Evansville played in war production during World War II, and discover how your ancestors may have contributed to the war effort from their home on the banks of the Ohio River.
Due to the Willard Library Better Books Sale in the Browning Gallery from September 8-13th, this month's program will be held in the Special Collections Department on the 2nd floor. The Better Books Sale will be open during regular library hours, with many local history and genealogical volumes available. Make sure to stop by before the program!
